National Coalition for Healthier Schools Partners

The Connecticut Foundation for Environmentally Safe Schools and formerly, the Canary Committee have received significant support and assistance from three nationally based environmental groups:

1. Children's Health Environmental Coalition (CHEC), checnet.org, whose spokesperson is Kelly Preston;
2. The Healthy Schools Network, healthyschools.org, with Claire Barnett as its Executive Director.
3. Center for Health Environment and Justice (CHEJ), chej.org, founded by Lois Gibbs who first gained prominence as the champion of the "Love Canal" disaster.
